Claims Technician
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and experienced Claims Technician to really make a difference to people and provide superb customer service to the portfolio of clients within our Commercial Division. The role would suit someone presently in a claims support role wishing to develop their career further.
Working alongside a team of Commercial Adjusters, you`ll assist in managing cases and have the ability and background insurance knowledge to make the right decisions on each claim. You`ll also work with colleagues sharing information, gathering evidence and working with stakeholders including brokers, insurers and others to provide full account case details of the claim through to settlement or repudiation.
Most importantly, you`ll be able to put yourself in our customer`s shoes, see the full picture and have the ability to make decisions based on the facts, treating all claims on their individual merits.

You will have/will be:
1. Ideally experienced in dealing with household and/ or commercial property damage insurance claims
2. Superb communications skills - listening and acting upon information given
3. The ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your own caseload of claims
4. Able to develop and maintain a close working relationship with the customers, to promote customer satisfaction during all stages of the claim
5. Understanding and empathy when required
6. Team orientated
7. Able to prioritise your workload on a daily basis
8. Excellent keyboard/ IT skills/Darwin
9. Ideally be educated to an advanced level
10. Cert CILA qualified or willing to work towards this qualification
