Audit Senior Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead audit teams, planning and performing audits.
2. Gather background data for audit planning.
3. Prepare and review financial statements and corporation tax computations.
4. Draft management letters and reports, ensuring adherence to time budgets.
5. Maintain confidentiality and professional client relationships.
6. Supervise and assist junior staff, liaising across departments for efficient job completion.
7. Contribute actively to technical training sessions.
Core Skills Required:
8. ACA or ACCA qualification (qualified or finalist).
9. Minimum 3 years in a multi-partner practice with significant audit exposure.
10. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (FRS102 and 1A).
11. Familiarity with Caseware and Digita preferred.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
13. Teamwork, problem-solving aptitude, and resilience under pressure.
