What You’ll Do
As a technical and team leader, you will have a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient and innovative electrical engineering solutions.
You will:
* Lead and guide electrical engineering teams to produce high‑quality technical outputs, including:
* MCC datasheets
* Act as a technical specialist, providing expertise across all project stages
* Ensure compliance with quality systems, engineering standards, and governance
* Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and manage integration across all engineering interfaces
* Work closely with project managers, design engineers, JV partners, and clients
* Lead reviews of bids, designs, and subcontractor deliverablesProvide on-site technical support, ensuring safe and correct implementation
* Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering capability growth
* Oversee budgets, schedules, risks, quality and delivery performance across your portfolio

What We’re Looking For
A confident technical leader who brings expertise, collaboration and clarity to complex water-sector projects.
You will have:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
* Strong professional experience within the water, wastewater or related engineering sectors
* Electrical power systems
* Water treatment control systems
* Integrated system and automation design
* Knowledge of CDM regulations, procurement processes and document control
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
* A proactive, adaptable and solution‑driven mindset
* Proven leadership and mentoring experience
* A passion for continuous improvement, innovation and progression
