Are you a skilled and motivated individual seeking a challenging role with expertise in complex purchase ledger, credit control, or unallocated cash? We are hiring a Finance Analyst (Reconciliations and Investigations) to manage client accounts across markets like Aviation, Marine, Art & Specie, Energy, Construction, Financial Risks, and Property & Casualty. Your responsibilities will include cash allocations, premium collection, and resolving discrepancies. How You'll Make An Impact
* Investigate unallocated cash by liaising with brokers and clients.
* Follow up on outstanding cash queries with clients.
* Manage high volumes of queries and respond to urgent issues.
* Provide detailed commentary on aged debt reports.
* Challenge and escalate problematic accounts.
* Perform root cause analysis to improve processes.
* Manage client debts and contact debtors proactively.
* Inform business units of non-payments promptly.
* Attend meetings to discuss debt and cash issues.
* Reconcile client statements.
* Liaise internally to ensure compliance with policies.
* Adhere to professional standards and policies.
About You
* Experience in high-volume Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, Cash Allocations, or Accounts Receivables in a complex environment.
* Skills in identifying and resolving root causes to reconcile accounts.
* Financial Services experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for large data analysis.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask, plan, and prioritize under strict deadlines.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
