About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our sample reception for the Circle Group based at Ealing Hospital.
Duties will include but not be limited to
* Entering patient details and test requests on the pathology computer system.
* Preparing and processing different type of biological samples for a wide range of tests.
* Packaging and sending samples to another laboratories
* Answering enquiries from health care professionals regarding the specimen type, processing state and expected time frames for laboratory investigations.
You will be expected to take part in the weekend rota once trained.
No prior experience is required but should have good computer skills, good verbal & written communication skills, can work well in a team and have a flexible approach to both workload & task allocation.
