Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician located in Colwyn Bay. The MET Technician will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and reassembling vehicle components with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and trim systems. Daily tasks will include dismantling and reassembling complex vehicle components, diagnosing faults, and ensuring vehicles are restored to manufacturer standards. The role also involves collaborating with the team to ensure timely and quality repairs, adhering to safety and quality control guidelines.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) skills, including repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
* Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, schematics, and manuals
* Hands‑on experience with automotive repair tools and equipment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work
* Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with team members
* Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of automotive safety protocols and procedures
* Previous experience in a bodyshop environment or similar automotive repair setting is advantageous
