About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, help organise fundraising events with the Home Manager, and encourage socialisation and hobbies among Residents. Your approach will always be guided by kindness.
We are seeking someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues alike.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act accordingly. All staff must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and be prepared to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
We offer full training and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
