Senior Investor Relations Manager (1 Braham Street, London, United Kingdom)Closing Date: Tuesday 10th June 2025Why this role mattersThe Senior Investor Relations Manager leads all Investor Relations activities for the Group/Business Unit, acting as the principal contact point for internal and external stakeholders on all investor relations matters, with the aim of increasing shareholder value and enhancing BT's image within the investment community in alignment with Group business objectives. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Investor Relations.What you'll be doingLead proactive investor relations programmes supporting strategic planning with the aim of increasing shareholder value and enhancing BT's image within the investment community.Determine and execute the Group’s approved investor relations and related communications strategies, including developing Group positioning and intended messaging to the financial markets.Provide specialist expertise on all regulatory matters as they apply to BT’s business and operations.Contribute to the proactive investor relations strategy and narrative, in coordination with executive leadership.Partner with the business, to ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with local legislative requirements.Manages relationships with BT’s key shareholders and potential investors.Mentor and coach experienced professionals to develop current and future team capabilities.Consider risk, regulation and uncertainty in all short and mid-term decisions, establishing clear accountabilities and an appropriate risk culture.Continuously develop expert knowledge of emerging trends and changes in investor relations principles and practices and the applicability to BT.The skills you'll needExtensive experience in an Investor Relations function within a major organisation.Strong understanding of capital markets and, ideally a good knowledge of the telecoms industry.An excellent communicator with the ability to distil complex issues into easily understandable messages.Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.Strong numerical acumen with a good understanding of financial reporting and accounting, financial modelling and valuationWell organised with an ability to prioritise activities and manage internal and external senior stakeholders.Benefits15% on target bonus Health CareCar AllowanceBT Pension scheme, minimum 5% Employee contribution, BT contribution 10%From January 2025, equal family leave: receive 18 weeks at full pay, 8 weeks at half pay and 26 weeks at the statutory rate.
