Team Leader – Supported Living

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Supported Living service at Harley House. You will lead a team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex health and behavioural needs.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, where you’ll support your team while also being actively involved in day‑to‑day care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
* Lead and support a team of Support Workers on shift
* Provide supervision, guidance, and performance feedback
* Ensure staff follow care plans, policies, and procedures
* Promote a positive, open, and supportive team culture
Care & Support Delivery
* Deliver and oversee person‑centred care
* Support individuals with complex needs, including non‑verbal communication
* Promote independence, choice, and inclusion
* Build strong relationships with individuals and their families
Quality & Compliance
* Ensure accurate record‑keeping and reporting (incidents, safeguarding, medication)
* Monitor staff training and competency
* Carry out audits, spot checks, and quality reviews
* Support compliance with CQC standards and best practices
Service Development
* Help develop and review support plans and goals
* Work closely with health professionals and external partners
* Support continuous improvement within the service
About You
* Experience in a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Passionate about delivering high‑quality care
* Confident managing challenging situations and behaviours
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting independence
Important Information
* A full UK manual driving licence is essential (mobility vehicle use)
* You will be required to take part in an on‑call rota
