An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Development Control Engineer to join a client in London. Your main duties include responding to planning enquiries from a highway engineering perspective (section 278, section 38 and section 106 agreements), managing the design review process for highway DC projects, undertaking site inspections and representing the client in public enquires / hearings when necessary.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £42 - £45 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working and working from home options are available.
Key Responsibilities:
·Responding to planning enquiries from an engineering perspective, including section 278, section 28 and section 106 agreements
·Managing the design review process for highway development control projects
·Undertaking site inspections, visits and data collection
·Representing the client at public hearings and enquiries when necessary
