Support Worker role at Community Integrated Care
We are hiring for a Support Worker to join our team. This is a full-time, contracted role with guaranteed hours and a focus on enabling people to live their lives with choice, dignity and respect.
Overview

Responsibilities
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
* Provide care and support in a home setting, ensuring preferences and choices are respected
* Work within a team of colleagues to maintain a clean, friendly and safe home
* Participate in shift patterns including long days and sleep-ins as required
* Engage in activities with the people you support, including outings and social occasions
Who you will be supporting
* Two women aged 59 and 62 with diverse needs, including hearing impairment, autism, learning disabilities and bipolar
* We prefer a driver for occasional outings in a company car (UK driving license required)

* Enjoy being out and about on days with 1-1 support
* Enjoy activities such as meals out, spa experiences, shopping, crafts, baking and relaxation
* Be fun, friendly and considerate, with an interest in the “girlie life” and sparkly things
* Respect personal space and be happy, outgoing and helpful
Requirements
* UK driving license preferred due to outings
* Ability to work flexible hours including long days and sleep-ins
