CyTAL is a cybersecurity firm specialising in the assurance and testing of products and systems, including smart metering, ICS, and other critical infrastructures. Our flagship tool, ProtoCrawler, is a cutting‐edge fuzz testing solution designed to proactively identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across diverse protocols.
As our first dedicated marketing hire, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping the company’s marketing
strategy, building our brand presence, and generating awareness and interest across target audiences. You’ll work directly with the Global Sales Director and benefit from mentorship by an experienced external Marketing Director, who will support you with strategic guidance and professional development.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Marketing Planning:
Design and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy to build brand awareness, support sales
enablement, and position ProtoCrawler as a leader in fuzz testing and cybersecurity.
Integrated Campaigns:
Plan and execute multi‐channel campaigns (email, content, social media, events, and digital advertising) to
attract and engage target customers and drive qualified leads into the pipeline.
Content Creation & Messaging:
Develop and manage content across formats—blogs, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, social posts, and newsletters. Work with technical experts to translate complex topics into compelling, customer-focused narratives.
Website & Digital Presence:
Manage and improve the website, ensuring it effectively communicates our value proposition, captures leads, and reflects a consistent brand voice. Support SEO, CRO, and user experience best practices.
Lead the planning and promotion of webinars, virtual sessions, and industry events to showcase our expertise, build credibility, and foster customer engagement.
Brand Development:
Establish and maintain a cohesive brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency in visual assets, tone of voice, and messaging.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine positioning, inform campaign strategies, and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Collaboration with Sales:
Work closely with the Global Sales Director to align marketing initiatives with business goals, create sales
enablement materials, and ensure a smooth handoff from marketing to sales.
Performance Measurement:
Define marketing KPIs, track and report on campaign performance, and use data to continually improve
effectiveness and ROI.
Process & Culture Building:
Help lay the groundwork for CyTAL’s marketing operations—defining best practices, workflows, and systems that will scale with our growth.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 2–5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally within cybersecurity, enterprise software, or other technical industries.
Generalist Skill Set: A well-rounded marketer who is comfortable switching between strategy, content
creation, campaign management, and analytics.
Digital Marketing Proficiency: Familiar with CRM systems, marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot,
Marketo), SEO/SEM, and basic design platforms (e.g., Canva or Adobe Suite).
Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling
messaging and collaborate across technical and commercial teams.
Analytical & Data-Driven: Comfortable with interpreting metrics and dashboards to make informed
decisions.
Self-Starter & Builder: Thrives in early-stage environments; takes initiative and enjoys building things from
the ground up.
Team-Oriented: Works well cross-functionally and values collaboration, transparency, and mutual support.
