Job Description
* Performing routine machinery inspections and maintenance tasks.
* Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns and malfunctions.
* Supporting the installation of new machinery and equipment.
* Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
* Providing input into the development of preventative maintenance strategies.
* Documenting all maintenance work for record-keeping purposes.
* Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimise performance.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
* Electrical qualification or experience in electrical maintenance.
* Experience working on Siemens and ABB Inverters, Siemens PLC's and 24V DC control circuits, emergency stops circuits and 415 motors.
* Confident at fault finding.
* Working through electrical drawings and main plant control panels.
* Apprentice trained.
* Experience with Inspection and testing 2391 (a benefit but not essential).
* Ideally be trained to the latest 18th edition wiring regulations (a benefit not essential).
* Trained to 17th edition wiring regulations as a minimum.
