The role is full time and is based in Leicester, UK at the Leicester School of Pharmacy. You will be expected to make a full contribution to teaching mathematical principles and study skills essential for science subjects and pharmacy at level 3 / undergraduate level across our programmes. You will also contribute to teaching in areas that reflect your scientific expertise. You may be asked to support delivery of post-graduate teaching. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the School’s research profile.Ideal CandidateYou will hold a BSc (Hons) in a subject with a significant mathematical content. A PhD in a laboratory Science related field, and in-depth subject knowledge in a science discipline relevant to the School’s undergraduate provision, are highly desirable. You will bring experience in teaching and assessing at level 3 and demonstrate the ability to contribute to research aligned with the School’s strategic priorities. Essential qualities include strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will also demonstrate a clear commitment to academic citizenship, actively contributing to the wider academic community.
