Admin Assistant – Engineering Sector (Catering & Laundry)
Location: Walsall
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday
Are you an organised, proactive and detail-focused administrator looking to join a friendly, growing engineering business? We’re recruiting for an Admin Assistant to support a busy Catering & Laundry Engineering company based in Walsall.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident communicating with engineers, customers and suppliers.
The Role:
As the Admin Assistant, you will play a key part in keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

Coordinating engineer diaries and scheduling jobs
*
Handling incoming calls and email enquiries
*
Updating internal systems, job sheets and documentation
*
Ordering parts and managing stock records
*
Processing invoices and supporting general office tasks
*
Providing excellent customer service to clients and suppliers
*
Supporting management with any additional administrative duties
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
Confident communicating with engineers, customers and external partners
*
Comfortable working in a fast-paced service/engineering environment
*
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*
A problem solver who can prioritise and multitask
*
Friendly, reliable and a strong team player
Experience in engineering or service-based industries is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided.
