The role
As a Curriculum Development Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum for the various programmes which form the Army Apprenticeships contract.
Day-to-day, you will ensure that curriculum-related policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with ESFA, Ofsted, and customer requirements.
1. Update our existing Apprenticeship curriculum, develop new curricula, and create teaching materials.
2. Coordinate with other departments and the Army to ensure records reflect what is being taught in their areas.
3. Coordinate assessment results and evidence for moderation.
4. Update the mapping of Army delivery into the Apprenticeship.
5. Support the delivery of training to the internal team.
This role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week, based on-site at Lyneham.
Essential experience of the Curriculum Development Lead
* Extensive experience in curriculum development roles.
* Good understanding of work-based learning programmes.
* Knowledge of engineering qualifications and apprenticeships.
* Experience designing curricula based on standards, creating delivery plans and content.
* Ability to analyze current programme delivery and identify opportunities for RPL/mapping into other programmes.
Qualifications for the Curriculum Development Lead
* Engineering qualifications at minimum Level 3.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
