EARLY YEARS TEACHING ASSISTANT Full time and Permanent Contract starting on an agreed date Scale 3/4 Point 05-10 Monday to Friday, term time only. 8.25a.m.-3.40p.m. (31.25 hours excluding 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak) (With a willingness to attend our five INSET days when required) An opportunity has arisen to work in our fantastic setting, providing the very best outcomes for our youngest children. Our staff are committed to the individual needs of every child in an inclusive and creative setting. You’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, both on a whole-class and individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all students’ learning needs are being met. Desirable qualifications and skills include: • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths • Teaching Assistant qualification Level 3 • Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff • Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students Closing date: Noon on 20th March 2026 Interviews week beginning 23rd March 2026 Culvers House is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
