About this Role
As a Valet/Van Driver within our Truck and Trailer operation, you will play a key part in keeping our hire fleet safe, clean, compliant, and ready for customers.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working around vehicles, takes pride in presentation, and likes variety across their day, whether that is driving, inspecting, or preparing assets for hire.
* Inspecting, cleaning, and preparing trucks and trailers to Dawsongroup standards.
* Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, compliant, and presented damage free.
* Recording vehicle usage, condition, and completing electronic documentation.
* Supporting vehicle movements, collections, and deliveries as required.
* Maintaining an organised, safe, and professional yard environment.
About You
You enjoy working independently, take ownership of your work, and understand the importance of doing things properly the first time. You do not need to tick every box, transferable skills and the right attitude matter just as much as direct experience.
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
* Comfortable working around commercial vehicles and outdoor environments.
* A careful and methodical approach with good attention to detail.
* Able to communicate clearly and represent the business professionally.
* Happy to learn new tasks, including light mechanical and yard duties.
