Job Description
Reporting to the Global Corporate Safety Head:
3. Lead Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and implement process safety systems at the site level.
4. Build, standardize, and implement safety procedures, audits, risk assessments, and training frameworks.
5. Conduct and ensure closure of HAZOP, What-If, HAC, QRA, SIL, LOPA, and other risk assessments.
6. Report and act on leading and lagging indicators of SHE and process safety performance.
7. Conduct regular trainings to improve safety awareness and build internal capability at all levels.
8. Ensure complete legal compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
9. Oversee operations of ETP, RO, MEE, and ensure Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) targets are met.
10. Lead process safety committees and coordinate visits with external safety consultants.
11. Drive fire safety readiness, including all firefighting systems and emergency response protocols.
12. Benchmark global best practices and drive continuous improvement and innovation in safety.
The Successful Applicant
13. (Chemical preferred) with 15+ years of leadership experience in SHE and Process Safety.
14. Proven track record of managing large EHS teams (25-30 people).
15. Strong command of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and legal compliance frameworks.
16. Deep expertise in ETP operations, fire safety standards, and incident management systems.
17. Key leadership competencies: Strategic Agility, Influencing, Decision Quality, Trust Building, and Effective Team Management.
