About The Company Farrer Barnes are supporting a construction company in Maidstone with their search for an Accounts Manager. This growing business is known for its high-quality projects and outstanding customer service. About The RoleOur client is seeking an Accounts Manager to take responsibility for all finance operations, and report into an external Finance Director. This role is ideal for individuals eager to take on a leadership position in finance within a vibrant company.Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
* Oversee reconciliations and ensure accurate matching of accounts.
* Take charge of month-end closing procedures and compliance requirements, including VAT and CIS.
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers regarding financial queries.
* Provide financial reports and updates to the external Finance Director.
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience in an Accounts/Finance Manager role is desirable.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
