We are currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our excellent supply agency and work in SEND and mainstream schools across Northumberland. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create a positive, structured learning environment where young people can succeed.
This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about supporting pupils in building self-regulation, social skills, and confidence. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, helping students develop positive coping strategies and re-engage with their learning.
A qualification in Team Teach or Positive Behaviour Support would be desirable.
The desired Behaviour Mentor will have:
1. Experience working with primary and/or secondary school-aged children
2. Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs
3. A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
4. The ability to work effectively as part of a team
5. The ability to build strong, positive relationships quickly with students
6. Key personal qualities such as patience, empathy, and resilience
7. A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
