This role will be subject to an Enhanced Adult DBS check. Our service supports people across Haringey with severe and enduring mental health needs. As a Care & Support Worker, you will develop personal, flexible, recovery‑focused support plans to help individuals improve their quality of life and face the future with confidence.
Location: Harrow HA1. Employment: Permanent, full time. Schedule: Overtime available. Hours: 37.5 hrs per week. Shifts: Includes late shifts, nights, weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota system.
Responsibilities
• Provide person‑centred support to individuals aged 18 and over with severe and enduring mental illness, including those with co‑existing issues such as substance misuse or mild learning disabilities after assessment.
• Develop and implement recovery‑focused support plans and work within the Care Programme Approach at an enhanced level.
• Maintain accurate records, attend team meetings, and work collaboratively to achieve service targets.
Qualifications & Experience
• Experience working with people who have long‑term mental health issues.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, strong communication skills, and a flexible, positive attitude.
• Ability to work as a team player in a changing environment and target‑driven setting.
• Refusal of visa sponsorship – only UK‑resident applicants.
