Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a state‑of‑the‑art rehabilitation service located in Widnes, Cheshire. The role involves leading a locked assessment and rehabilitation program for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure safe admission, assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients
* Manage medication regimes
* Implement quality assurance, handle complaints and facilitate co‑production
* Deliver NICE guidance as applicable
* Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to meet quality standards
Candidate Profile
To be considered you must have an MRCPsychiatry or equivalent qualification and full GMC registration.
* Innovative with an ability to initiate corporate decisions
* Strong understanding of current developments in psychiatry and mental health
* Knowledge of change management, legislation, contemporary mental health issues, and purchaser/provider contractual matters
* Previous Consultant experience
