About the role:
Are you an experienced Beauty professional ready to inspire the next generation of industry talent?
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Beauty Lecturer to join our Hair & Beauty – Service Industries team. You will deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment across a range of Beauty study programmes, ensuring learners receive an engaging, industry-relevant and supportive learning experience.
You will:
1. Plan and deliver dynamic theoretical and practical lessons in Beauty therapy
2. Design schemes of work and assessment materials in line with awarding body requirements
3. Assess learner work fairly and provide timely, constructive written feedback
4. Act as a Personal Tutor, delivering the tutorial programme and supporting learner progress
5. Monitor attendance, retention and achievement to drive positive outcomes
6. Prepare learners for progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study
7. Organise enrichment activities, external visits and work placements
8. Maintain accurate assessment records and participate in internal verification and quality assurance processes
9. Embed English and Maths within teaching and learning
10. Contribute to recruitment activities including open evenings and interviews
11. You will play a key role in maintaining professional standards within the salon environment, ensuring health and safety compliance, safeguarding, equality and diversity are embedded in all aspects of delivery.
