Job Summary of a Pre Press / Artworker:
Preparation/creation of artwork for digital & printing production
Check all artworks supplied and prepare them for printing
Ensure artwork proofs are accurately created and proofed on time
Work closely with the pre-press manager to plan jobs going into production
To make changes on already existing artworks as required
Continue to learn and improve knowledge of print technologies
Job Skills
Some experience of pre-press work
Some knowledge of artwork and associated printing technologies
Previous / current experience working within packaging and labels
Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Good understanding of colour management software
