What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try.
You will work on our Infrastructure project and frameworks. Ideally, you will be based locally, although we are open to subsidising relocation.
* Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
* Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors.
* Complete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as required.
* Undertake material reconciliations.
* Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
* Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.
* Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining the as-built records.
About You:
* Ability to work safely.
* Read & interpret data and drawings.
* Confident with standard setting out techniques and ability to use Level and EDM; knowledge of GPS preferred.
* Flexible attitude to work.
