Your new companyYou will be joining an established highways contractor working on street lighting schemes for local authorities. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work across multiple long-term frameworks and highways disciplines. Offering excellent opportunities for career progression and development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Suffolk.
Your new roleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in a Suffolk depot and be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects. This role is predominantly office-based with travel to local sites as and when required.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will ideally hold a degree/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar) and have good working knowledge of NEC contracts. In addition, you will have proficient IT skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Finally, you will have strong organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
