Support new technology platform. Extend support to design teams on analysis and solution to complex control and hardware design issues. Design reviews Develop mathematical tools for power circuit and control design/iteration Provide guidance and suggestion to improve efficiency, performance, reliability, cost during product development. Technical training to design teams Skills/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering with more than 12 years’ experience (essential) Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering with 7 years’ experience (desirable) PhD in Power electronics preferred (desirable) Knowledge in: Power circuit, Analog and digital control design of single and three phase PFC, hard- switched, ZVS, resonant DC-DC converters Modeling and analysis of control loops – Mathematical and simulation Modelling, design and analysis of complex magnetic circuits EMI filter design Keeps up to date with the latest developments in the industry i.e. Wide Band Gap devices - GaN and SiC Expertise in using PLECS, Simetrix/Simplis, Mathcad,Matlab, PSIM simulation tools High degree of mathematical ability Good verbal and written communication
