Optomen Television is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Junior Production Manager for a returning primetime cooking television series.
Role Responsibilities
As a Junior Production Manager, you’ll be part of a small Production Management team, accompanied by two Production Coordinators and reporting to the Line Producer to support the filming team throughout the competition.
This will include:
1. Overseeing the pre-production and production phases, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently
2. Coordinating with team members to manage contestants and crew travel, accommodation, and expenses
3. Assisting with payroll, processing invoices, and helping with contestant contracts
4. Managing the day-to-day facilities of the studio
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 5 years experience at Production Coordinator level or above
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex logistics
* Confident taking the lead and being the central point of contact between stakeholders with strong communication skills
* Solution-oriented and capable of problem-solving
* Experience using PMI
* Live within a 1-hour commute of Stratford Upon Avon
This contract will run from 21st July to 6th February 2026, Monday to Friday, with a two-week production break over Christmas. During pre-production, the role will be based at the production office in Digbeth, Birmingham. During filming, the role will be based at the studio in Stratford Upon Avon. You will need your own transport to get to the studios each day; subsistence will be provided during filming.
