We are seeking a committed, patient and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of special educational needs, helping them to feel safe, engaged and successful in their learning.
About the Role
As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum
2. Provide individualised support to pupils with diverse needs, including communication differences, sensory needs, ASD, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning needs
3. Help create a calm, structured, nurturing environment
4. Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and communication
5. Assist with personal care where required
6. Use visuals, routines and adaptive strategies to help students access learning
7. Work as part of a supportive, skilled and friendly team

Experience working with SEND is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
