Job Title: Compliance Risk Reduction Programme Manager Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP) Service Area: Asset Management Hours of Work: 37 Per week What You’ll be doing: The Compliance Risk Reduction Programme Manager leads the delivery of statutory engineering compliance across the estate, with a focus on managing and supporting Responsible Persons (RPs) for asbestos, Legionella, gas safety, electrical safety amongst other disciplines. The role supports the Chief Engineer and SHEQ Director in maintaining technical compliance, operational safety and adherence to statutory and regulatory obligations across HMNB Portsmouth and associated outstations. The role of Compliance Risk Reduction Programme Manager also provides strategic input via programmatic leadership to deliver annualised compliance programmes, supports the funding case for long-term investment, and drives a risk-based recovery profile to restore compliance across high-risk asset groups and activities. You’ll Have: Deep understanding of statutory engineering compliance frameworks (e.g., JSP 375, BS 9999:2017, CAR:2012, HSE ACoP L8, GSR 1998) and ideally proven experience in managing technical compliance and assurance in a complex engineering environment.
