We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and take ownership of key financial processes. Based onsite in Tipton, this is a hands-on role where your skills will directly support the financial health and growth of the business.
What You'll Be Doing: Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll play a vital role in managing the day-to-day financial operations, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate financial data across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Finance Director with all aspects of the finance function
Assisting with year-end accounts and audits
Helping produce and analyse management accounts
Preparing and posting journals (accruals/prepayments)
Balance sheet and control account reconciliations
Handling intercompany recharges and reconciliations
Posting bank payments and receipts
Performing bank reconciliations
Reviewing purchase invoices and supplier statements
Assisting with VAT returns and payroll processing
Providing occasional support with incoming calls
What We’re Looking For:
AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience (minimum 3+ years in accounting)
Previous experience in an SME environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
