Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Rushden area to recruit a passionate and creative Media Studies Teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
The Role:
1. Teaching Media Studies to mixed-ability classes
2. Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons
3. Assessing and tracking student progress effectively
4. Contributing positively to the department and wider school community
5. Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching Media Studies in a UK secondary school
8. Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Media Studies
9. Excellent classroom management skills
10. A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
