Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Supervisor – Coleshill, Birmingham People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager / Supervisor to join a global organisation at their brand-new Omni-Channel facility in Coleshill, Birmingham. Shifts • Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:00 (Full-time, Permanent) • Flexibility required during setup phase Salary • Competitive, up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Benefits • Company pension and comprehensive benefits package • Free on-site parking • Long-term, permanent opportunity with clear career development • Opportunity to influence and help build a new Omni-Channel operation • Exposure to B2B, B2C, spare parts, and DG (Class 9) logistics • Involvement in insourcing, team formation, site permitting, and facility setup Day-to-Day Duties • Manage all warehouse activities across B2B, B2C, and spare parts operations, including inbound, outbound, returns, and inventory • Drive setup activities, workflows, and process creation during the initial build and operational launch • Operate and optimise the Warehouse Management System (SAP EWM or similar) to ensure accuracy and efficiency • Oversee safe handling, storage, and documentation of Dangerous Goods (Class 9) in line with ADR/IATA/IMDG regulations • Lead by example — hands-on involvement on the warehouse floor while building team capability • Train, mentor, and develop a multicultural workforce • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and DG regulations • Collaborate closely with Planning, Procurement, Ecommerce, and Customer Service teams • Monitor key performance indicators including on-time dispatch, inventory accuracy, and space utilisation • Manage 3PL and transport partners to ensure service quality • Coordinate cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation Essential Skills • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in a complex warehouse or logistics environment • Experience setting up or supporting new warehouse operations • Strong operational knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP EWM preferred) • Proven Dangerous Goods (Class 9) handling experience • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities • Resilient, adaptable, and confident leading through change Desirable Experience • DG (ADR/IATA/IMDG) certification • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement awareness • Valid forklift licence or warehouse safety certification Training Provided • Full training and operational setup support provided, including systems and DG process training Apply Today If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a Warehouse Manager / Supervisor, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
