About the Role
Wesleyan is seeking a dedicated Procurement & Supplier Management Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a 13-month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity in the department. The role will have a particular focus on supplier management and procurement activities relating to our critical outsourcing partners, ensuring robust governance and optimal outcomes.
With an annual supplier spend exceeding £60 million, you’ll play a key role in supporting procurement processes and supplier management activities across the organisation. You’ll work closely with the Procurement & Supplier Management team and stakeholders to maintain high standards and deliver value.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support the administration and governance of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and IT Outsourcing (ITO) relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
2. Maintain and update supplier records, contract documentation, risk reporting, and performance dashboards.
3. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual milestones; monitor supplier performance and escalate issues or risks in line with governance frameworks.
4. Provide data and insights to help identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.
5. Prepare and maintain schedules, agendas, minutes, and action logs for team meetings, particularly with critical outsourcing partners.
6. Assist with the facilitation of supplier meetings and the production and assurance of Management Information to support governance requirements.
7. Perform contract financial management activities including requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice processing; generate supplier spend reports.
8. Use market and internal data to identify opportunities for improved outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
9. Ability to work accurately under pressure, managing high volumes and multiple deadlines.
10. Understanding of procurement’s role and value within an organisation.
11. Familiarity with procurement processes and contract management.
12. Familiarity with Financial Management basics (Invoices etc)
13. Strong data interpretation and financial analysis skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
14. Excellent relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
