Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations and manage supplier relationships.
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, ensuring consistent stock availability, negotiating supplier agreements and improving purchasing processes to support efficient store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing purchasing strategies
* Identifying and negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing
* Managing relationships with wholesalers and distributors
* Monitoring stock levels
* Coordinating purchasing activities to maintain optimal inventory levels
The role also involves:
* Analysing purchasing data and sales trends to support cost‑effective procurement decisions
* Ensuring timely ordering and delivery of goods
* Maintaining accurate procurement records
* Working closely with store management to forecast demand
* Identifying opportunities for cost savings and supply chain efficiency
