We’re looking for a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school that needs someone who can start straight away. You’ll be helping children with additional needs feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
What the role looks like
* Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, and social and emotional needs
* Working 1:1 or in small groups depending on the day
* Helping pupils regulate, engage, and access learning in ways that work for them
* Building strong relationships with teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team
* Keeping routines predictable and creating a calm, encouraging environment
You’ll be great for this role if you
* Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
* Are patient, consistent, and genuinely nurturing
* Can adapt to different needs and use a range of supportive strategies
* Communicate clearly and work well with others
* Have Thrive or trauma-informed training, or would like to access our free training offer

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
