The Role As the Copy Manager you will shape and protect Oh Polly’s tone of voice and brand storytelling across all channels. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll lead a small team, oversee high-impact content for campaigns and launches, optimise performance using industry insights, and drive projects that elevate our premium brand presence and SEO foundations. Main Responsibilities Be brand guardian and develop, refine, and oversee brand tone of voice and style guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials. Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong narratives behind launches and campaigns, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with brand positioning. Maintain an up-to-date view of competitor activity and industry trends, using insights to inspire fresh ideas and support strategic testing. Work with key teams to monitor performance data across channels, identifying successes, challenges, and opportunities to optimise future campaigns Support the growth and development of team members, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high standards of output. Oversee the creation of high-quality content for campaigns, launches, and always-on activity, ensuring consistency in messaging, storytelling, and customer education. Lead on projects to improve efficiency and impact, such as updating brand guidelines, enhancing customer resources, optimising website copy, and strengthening SEO foundations. Reports into the Head of Marketing and has line management responsibility Skills & Requirements 5 years' experience in a copywriting role within a luxury fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand is essential. Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong eye for tone, style, and storytelling suited to a premium audience. Experience working within luxury brand guidelines and crafting content that feels elevated and aspirational. Strong understanding of SEO and how to apply it within luxury editorial content. Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working at pace while maintaining high quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience leading and managing a team.
