We are seeking a dedicated English Lecturer to join our educational team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mathematics and education, looking to impact our students' futures positively.
Day-to-day of the role of a English Lecturer:
* Deliver engaging and effective Entry level 1-3 courses to students.
* Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
* Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
* Provide individual support and feedback to students to enhance their learning experience.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to develop new teaching strategies and educational initiatives.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the English Lecturer Role:
* A degree in English or equivalent
* Relevant teaching or training qualification with English subject specialism e.g. QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE
* Experience of teaching on and assessing accredited English/Literacy qualifications Entry level 1-3
* Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
