Job Description – IT Support Engineer Apprentice The Opportunity Our client is recruiting for an IT Support Engineer Apprentice to join their team in Balcombe. The Level 3 Information Communication Technician apprenticeship programme that we are offering, will allow you to kick-start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational. The Position Job Title: IT Support Engineer Apprentice Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship Duration: 13 months EPA Location: Balcombe, West Sussex Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm Salary: £8 per hour We are a growing Managed Service Provider delivering high-quality IT support, cybersecurity, cloud services, project delivery, and consultancy to businesses across the UK. Our culture emphasises professional growth, learning, and developing talent from within. Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Trainee IT Support Engineer to join our service desk team. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone starting their career in IT. Key Responsibilities - Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote tools. - Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. - Assist with supporting cloud-based systems. - Monitor and maintain client systems and alerts. - Log and manage support tickets. The Person - Quick to learn and eager to develop new skills. - Methodical, organised, and calm under pressure. - Strong communicator. - Problem solver with good attention to detail. Essential Full UK Driving Licence Eligibility Criteria Individuals must have a valid and eligible residency status to apply for this role.
