Senior Residential Support Worker
Our children's home in Wisbech is recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker to provide compassionate care to young people aged 8‑18 with emotional and behavioural needs. The role involves supporting the Registered Manager, overseeing staff, and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the home.
Key responsibilities include
* Providing direct care and support to young people, promoting independence and self‑care skills.
* Supervising and motivating the staff team.
* Updating care plans, reporting and ensuring accurate documentation.
* Communicating effectively with young people, families and team members.
* Supporting the community activities and safeguarding processes.
Required qualifications and experience
* Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare.
* Previous experience within a residential childcare setting.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent resilience, communication, organisational and caring skills.
