Senior Procurement Manager – Print & Paper
Location: London (Hybrid)
Full-time | Permanent
Salary: £75k - £85k per annum + bonus
JSS are currently working with a global organisation with a complex, international supply chain to hire an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead its Print & Paper category across UK, EU, US and Asian markets.
This is a high-impact role within a centralised global procurement function, responsible for delivering strategic value, commercial optimisation and supplier performance across offset and digital print, and paper sourcing. You will act as the subject matter expert for the category, driving sourcing strategy, cost reduction initiatives and long-term supplier partnerships in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the global category strategy for Print & Paper (offset, digital and paper purchasing)
* Lead end-to-end sourcing activity including RFQ/RFP/RFI processes, negotiations and contract management
* Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, performance and resilience
* Evaluate global market trends, sustainability considerations and regulatory developments
* Drive cost optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives across regions
* Support procurement transformation initiatives, including system and process enhancements (e.g., SAP/Ariba)
* Monitor and analyse KPIs to identify opportunities for performance improvement
* Conduct supplier site visits and audits (up to 20% travel)
* Provide leadership and direction to procurement team members on key projects
About You
* Extensive experience in global Print & Paper procurement within manufacturing or physical production environments
* Strong background in category management, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
* Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable savings
* Confident negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across geographies
* Experienced in managing multiple complex projects in parallel
* Comfortable leading change and embedding new procurement practices in a global setting
* Professional procurement qualification (e.g., MCIPS) desirable
