* Employment Type: Full Time/6-month FTC with a view to going permanent
* Working Hours: Mon – Thurs, 07:30–16:00, and Fri, 07:30–13:30
* Salary: £33.5k
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a forward-thinking company in Aberdare.
The Role:
The Health & Safety Advisor will provide professional guidance and operational support to ensure the organisation maintains a safe, legally compliant, and risk‑aware working environment.
A key focus of this role is the management, implementation, and continuous improvement of DSEAR controls across relevant processes, equipment, and facilities.
The Ideal Candidate:
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* Demonstrable experience working with DSEAR in an operational, engineering, manufacturing, or chemical environment
* Strong understanding of hazardous substances, flammable atmospheres, and associated control measures
* Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
* Confident communicator able to influence at all levels
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
