About the mission we offer you:
You will be joining as a key member of our HSED team which is responsible for HSE design activities on a range of projects.
Your responsibilities and involvement will include:
1. Develop the Scope, Budget and Schedule for Design HSE activities on projects in line with contract requirements.
2. Coordinate and progress Design HSE activities required to complete the job.
3. Develop, check and/or approve discipline deliverables and studies.
4. Manage Project Changes and provide cost estimates for scope changes to the Project.
5. Prepare regular progress and status reports as required by the client and Project Manager.
6. Participate in engineering coordination and progress review meetings.
7. Liaise with other disciplines for engineering interfaces.
8. Liaise with the client on project requirements.
9. Develop and analyze HSE solutions for specific job requirements.
10. Provide technical bid evaluations for HSE Studies.
11. Review and approve vendor and subcontractor data and deliverables.
12. Participate in HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, SIL, and design review meetings to provide HSE input.
About you:
We’d love to hear from you and how you match this position. To be successful, you should consider the following requirements:
1. 7+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Process Engineering, or other industrial settings.
2. Degree in engineering or equivalent.
3. Good understanding of Design HSE standards, regulations, industry codes, and standards (API, NFPA, IP, etc.).
4. Proficiency in MS Office software.
5. Knowledge of ISO 14001 requirements.
6. Experience leading projects as a technical or project lead, including safety and environmental reviews (HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, SIL), fire and gas detector layouts, hazard classification, firefighting systems, risk assessments, emergency response planning, and safety-related P&ID development.
