An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the leadership team of the Community Mental Health Services within the East Riding of Yorkshire, as a Team Manager at the Beverley & Pocklington Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
The post is an operational leadership role forming part of our integrated partnership arrangements with Humber Teaching Foundation Trust. The Beverley and Pocklington CMHT is one of 5 CMHTs in the East Riding of Yorkshire area. The manager role is instrumental in managing the team, maintaining partnerships with both Humber Foundation Trust, and neighbouring TEWV Trust who cover the Pocklington area. The teams fulfil The Local Authority's statutory functions under both the Mental Health Act and Care Act in relation to people experiencing mental health issues, and the Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Local Authority duties are met.
As part of the leadership team, you would support and lead on areas of service development, work closely as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, and provide line management for the team. The post holder would supervise qualified social work staff, Humber staff and provide guidance and advice on a daily basis to the team.The post holder wiould be a qualified Social Worker, with relvant experience and knowledge of mental health services. They would manage and coordinate the budgets, performance, Human Resource and Health and Safety activity pertinent to the team.
