Our client is a well-respected main contractor and developer with an exceptional reputation for having completed award-winning new build and redevelopment projects across some of Edinburgh's most challenging prime locations. With a strong pipeline of high-profile developments ahead of them, they are now seeking to appoint another Quantity Surveyor to their team.
The RoleAs a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of our bespoke residential developments. You'll work closely with the design, construction, and client teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
Manage procurement and contract administration
Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports
Value completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors
What they are looking for
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in residential construction (bespoke/flatted developments preferable
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in MS Excel and QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam)
Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented
