Job Description About the role This is a hands-on role at the heart of product delivery. You’ll help develop and integrate the hardware and software that make up Constellation, our automated manufacturing system, and you’ll play a key part in informing subsystem design and delivering a reliable system. What you’ll do You’ll do hands-on work within a multi-disciplinary product team to bring our system to life and ensure its performance. You’ll get to: Bring hardware and software subsystems together in a robust and reliable way across the entire product development lifecycle, from early prototypes through to production releases Develop software for controlling mechatronic systems and monitoring their performance Plan and run integration tests and experiments, then turn results into clear conclusions and practical next steps Troubleshoot complex mechatronic systems, finding root causes and feeding insights back into design Write strong technical documentation, including experiment protocols and reports Work closely with engineers across robotics, software, hardware, and systems, in a fast-paced environment Steer our product and processes to ensure quality and facilitate a smooth handover to product verification
