Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and confident individual to join us as a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner. The post holder will provide support to the dietitians in neurosciences (four days per week) and contribute one day per week to the ketogenic service, also based at NHNN. The role involves:
* Direct patient contact
* Liaising with dietitians and the wider multidisciplinary teams at NHNN
* Supporting care pathways with other hospitals and in the community
* Facilitating both inpatient treatment and safe discharge
* Managing stock of specialist nutrition products
Qualifications and attributes
We are seeking someone who can work well within a team, manage their time effectively, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. A good baseline knowledge of nutrition is essential. Experience or understanding of Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) would be an advantage, though full training and supervision will be provided.
