About You
You will have:
* A relevant social work qualification to support registration with Social Work England
* A passion for improving outcomes for children.
* A minimum of two years’ experience of working within a Local Authority or private sector fostering team.
* Enthusiasm and ambition to deliver high quality support and supervision to both prospective and approved kinship foster carers.
* Strong assessment and recording skills and be motivated to promote an empathic understanding of the needs of children in care across the service.
* The necessary skills to deliver a range of tasks connected to kinship fostering assessments, training, support and supervision of all foster carers.
* In-depth knowledge of legislation and a good understanding of the National Minimum Standards for Fostering (NMS 2011).
