Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Location: Wythenshawe Start Date: September Key Stages: EYFS – KS2 Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a number of welcoming, supportive, and forward-thinking primary schools across Wythenshawe. These schools are seeking experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to provide PPA cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 on a full-time basis from September. This role is ideal for confident Level 3 practitioners who are ready to take on increased responsibility by delivering pre-prepared lessons, with no planning required. The Role As a PPA Teaching Assistant, you will: Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across a variety of year groups Support pupils’ learning and encourage active participation Promote positive behaviour and maintain a calm, supportive classroom environment Work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ academic and personal development Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will: Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Have previous experience confidently leading whole-class sessions Demonstrate strong communication and effective behaviour management skills Be flexible and comfortable working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Role Details Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only) Start Date: September Pay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
